Hello! Carolyn is the
name, blogging is my game...that's a really cheesy lie. Haha. Let's just
pretend that didn't happen. I'm a twenty-year-old young women attending Brigham
Young University-Idaho. I'm the youngest of three (wonderful) children. My
older siblings are my heroes, and my parents are my motivation. I have two
adorable nephews who I love more than life itself. I am a Mormon, and proud of
it. Being active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has made me
who I am today, but trust me, it wasn't easy to get here. I grew up in the
state of California but moved to Arizona in the middle of my childhood. The people
in Arizona shaped me. I don't know what I plan on doing with my life, but it
will be something service related. For now, the only plan I have is graduating
college with a degree in Biotechnology.
I was thinking about
what to blog about for the first time ever, but one thing kept popping into my
mind: SERVICE. I cannot express how much a kind act can mean in a regular day.
What's not to love about making someone smile, right? The problem for me is
that I over-think things. Will my
service turn into a burden for them? Will they take it the wrong way? What if
they don't like whatever service I provided? There's only one answer to those
questions: WHO CARES? The act of service shows love. People can choose to be
offended by the simplest of things; why worry?! So serve! Serve your little
heart out! It brings people closer together and builds stronger
relationships.
[Service,] Peace & Love.
